Doing Justice

"and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God?" Micah 6:8

We are called to a life of servant ministry by Christ's example. The people of Creator work to fulfill that call to ministry to those who are most vulnerable through work on both the local and global levels.

  • Creator and the Local Community

    Creator partners with other groups in the area to work to end hunger in our community. Providing food and donations for King's Cupboard, a satellite of the Oregon Food Bank, volunteering to help pack food at the OFB, working with Backpack Buddies to provide healthy weekend meals for students at Clackamas Elementary School are some of the ways that Creator ministers to the community.

    Twice-annual blood drives with the American Red Cross and/or walking as a team in Light the Night for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society are other ways to work with the community.

  • Creator and the World

    Creator partners with Lutheran World Relief to provide aid for global efforts. Lutheran World Relief Disaster Relief teams are on the ground where disasters strike in the U.S. and worldwide.

    Creator also partners with Lutheran World Relief to provide a living wage through Fairly Traded commodities like coffee, tea, cocoa, chocolate.
