There will be a book study during January and early February on Thursday evenings at church 6:30-7:30 pm, starting Jan. 18 - Feb. 8. We will be doing a book study on 'A Bigger Table: Building Messy, Authentic, and Hopeful Spiritual Community' by John Pavlovitz.
John Pavlovitz is a pastor, writer, and activist from Wake Forest, NC. In the past four years, his blog "Stuff That Needs to Be Said," has reached a diverse worldwide audience. A twenty-year veteran in the trenches of local church ministry, John is committed to equality, diversity, and justice, both inside and outside faith communities.
If you're not able to join the book study discussion every week all are encouraged to purchase a copy and read along as a compliment to and extension of our January focus on deepening our missional identity. Some copies of the book are currently available in the church office at $12 each.
