Middle Schoolers particpate in Confirmation classes where they explore their faith, the Bible, and Luther's Small Catechism. Before confirmation in the fall of their 9th grade year they write a personal faith statement which they present to the Creator church council, and which is framed and displayed on confirmation day. The community celebrates their continuing faith journey with the students.
High Schoolers particpate in regularly scheduled youth activities throughout the year. They combine fellowship activities, service activities and participation in events such as the National Lutheran Youth Gatherings, Oregon Lutheran Youth Organization (OLYO) events, Let Justice Roll and Holden Village Youth Weekend. An active group of parents works with the youth leaders to guide and organize these events.
Creator's talented young people of all ages are given opportunities to share their musical talents during the worship services and at special events throughout the year.
All young people are welcomed and encouraged to participate in the life of the congregation as important members here at Creator.
Check out the schedule of activities for the various age groups on the Creator Calendar.
